in Quadriceps Exercise
Main Muscle Worked: Quadriceps
Place a stepping pillar or elevated platform on the floor.
Stand up straight while holding a barbell with both hands and the handle across the back of your shoulders. Your feet should be hip width away from each other. Your toes must be pointing out, head up, chest up, and back straight. This is your starting position.
Elevate your body by placing your right foot on the platform then extending your right leg. Let your body elevate and follow the movement of the right leg as you do this.
Once your right leg is fully extended, place your left foot on the platform as well to proceed to a standing position.
Pause for a moment then step down by reversing your movements. Continue until you’re back to your starting position.
Complete your repetitions in one leg then switch legs and repeat.
