Main Muscle Worked: Calves
Sit on a calf press machine. Adjust the seat so that your knees are slightly bent. The balls of your feet should be steadily touching the platform.
Setup the weight according to your preference.
Hold the handles and keep your back straight. This is your starting position.
Extend your knees to straighten your legs then press downward through the balls of your feet. The weight should be lifted off the stack. Your toes should be pointing up while your ankles are fully flexed.
Pause for a moment then slowly reverse the motion and repeat.
