Cheat Curls are very similar to Barbell Curls, except that the weight is heavy enough to make a few strict repetitions challenging. The heavier weight makes swinging more likely, which engages your shoulder and back in lifting and lowering the bar. Cheat Curls are preferably done after regular Barbell Curls, when you notice that you are already getting tired and you want to do a few more reps.
