Step 1
Look for a platform that’s 4-6 inches high then position it in front of the cable row machine’s seat.
Step 2
Sit down and put your feet on the platform so that your knees are slightly bent and not locked.
Step 3
Maintain the natural alignment of your back as you lean over then grab the V-bar handles.
Step 4
Extend your arms and pull back until your torso is at a 90-degree angle from your legs. Slightly arch your back and stick out your chest until your feel a nice stretch on your lats as you hold the bar. This is your staring position.
Step 5
Pull the handles back towards your torso while keeping your arms close to it until you come in contact with your abdominals. Exhale as you do this.
Step 6
Hold the contraction for a second and return to the original position in a slow and controlled manner. Inhale as you do this.
Step 7
Repeat until the recommended amount of repetitions is achieved.
