Exercise Ball Crunch - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Using an exercise ball, lie down on it with your lower back pressed against the surface. Bend your knee with your feet pressed firmly against the ground while your upper torso hangs on top of the ball. Keep your arms along your side or crossed on your chest.

Step 2

Begin by moving your torso down into a stretching position, and keep your neck still all the times.

Step 3

Bend your waist by squeezing your abdomen while keeping your hips in place, as you twist your shoulders and trunk upward. Slide your arms up the side of your legs, or position them crossed on your chest, and maintain your lower back in contact with the ball. Do this movement and exhale, then hold the contraction for a second.

Step 4

Inhale and return to the starting point.

Step 5

Redo Steps 1 to 4 accordingly.
