Hyperextensions - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Lie facedown on a hyperextension bench. Place your heels against the rear supports. Cross your arms on your chest and keep your body straight and tight. This is your starting position.

Step 2

Bend down as far as you can. Feel your lower back muscles stretch as you do so.

Step 3

Pause for a second, then lift your body back to starting position.
