Incline Push-Up Wide - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Stand in front of a Smith machine or a sturdy elevated platform. The height of the platform or the machine should be according to your height. The lower the height, the more difficult this exercise would be.

Step 2

Place your hands on top of the platform or the bar. Your hands should be wider than shoulder width away from each other.

Step 3

Move your feet back and away from the platform or bar. Your arms should be perpendicular to the body. Keep your body straight all throughout this exercise. This is your starting position.

Step 4

Lower your chest until it touches the bar or the surface of the platform.

Step 5

Pause for a moment then extend your elbows to lift your body up until you’re back to your starting position.
