Jackknife Sit-Up - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Using an exercise mat, lie even on your back with your arms extended straight back behind your head and your legs extended also. This is your starting position.

Step 2

Exhale and bend at the waist while simultaneously raising your arms and legs to form a jackknife position. Tip: Extend and lift your legs at approximately 35-45 degrees from the floor, and your arms should be parallel to your legs. Lift your upper torso from the floor.

Step 3

Inhale and put down your arms and legs as you go back to the starting position.

Step 4

Repeat the recommended amount of repetitions.
