Lateral Speed Step - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Stand up in an athletic position. Your knees should be slightly bent, arms on your sides with a slight bend on your elbows, and feet shoulder width away from each other.

Step 2

Raise your left knee up and step sideways to your right.

Step 3

Once your right foot has landed, immediately raise your left knee and step it next to your right foot. Continue to step sideways towards the same direction for 2-3 steps.

Step 4

After that, in one big jump, jump towards your starting position.

Step 5

Switch directions and repeat.
