Main Muscle Worked: Quadriceps
Sit on a leg press machine with your legs directly in front and feet shoulder width away from each other.
Slowly lower the safety bars while holding the weighted platform in place. Press the platform upwards until your legs are fully extended. Do not lock your knees. Your torso and legs should be perpendicular to each other. This is your starting position.
Slowly lower the platform as you breathe in until your upper legs are perpendicular to your lower legs.
Go back to your starting position by pushing mainly with your heels and using your quadriceps. Exhale as you do this.
Repeat until the recommended amount of repetitions is achieved and make sure to lock the safety pins properly once you are finished
