Main Muscle Worked: Shoulders
Place a log in front of you.
Bend over and grab the handles.
Attempt to get the log as high as you can, pulling it into your chest. Extend through your hips and knees to bring it up to complete the clean.
Move your head back and look up, creating a space on your chest to rest the log.
Prepare to lift the log. To make lifting easier, bend your knees and immediately reverse the motion so you can use the momentum to lift the log.
Continue lifting the log until it’s above your head. As the log is pressed, ensure that you push your head through on each repetition.
Repeat as many times as possible.
Slowly return the log back to the floor.
