Lying Face Up Plate Neck Resistance - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Hold a plate with both hands.

Step 2

Lie on your back on a flat bench with your head and shoulders hanging on the end of the bench. Keep your whole body straight.

Step 3

Place and hold the weight on your forehead. This is your starting position.

Step 4

Slowly lower your head as you inhale. Continue for as far as you can.

Step 5

Pause for a moment then slowly raise your head in a semi-circular motion until you’re back to your starting position. Exhale as you do this.

Step 6

Hold your position for a second before proceeding with your next repetition.

Step 7

Repeat until the recommended amount of repetitions is achieved.
