Medicine-Ball Push-Up - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Place a medicine ball on the floor.

Step 2

Do a push up position next to the ball. Support your weight with your hands and toes.

Step 3

Place the hand nearest to the ball on top of it. Your other hand remains on the floor.

Step 4

Move your feet in a fair distance away from each other. The distance should be just enough to stabilize your position. Keep your body straight all throughout this exercise. This is your starting position.

Step 5

Lower your body by bending your elbows to your sides. Continue until your chest almost touches the floor.

Step 6

Pause for a moment then slowly push yourself up until you’re back to your starting position.

Step 7

Complete your repetition then switch arms and repeat the steps.
