Push-Ups With Feet Elevated - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Do a push up position on the floor with your toes on top of a flat bench. The higher the bench or the elevation, the more difficult this exercise would be.

Step 2

Extend your arms and move your hands around 3 feet away from each other. Keep your body straight all throughout this exercise. This is your starting position.

Step 3

Lower your body by bending your elbows to your sides. Continue until your chest almost touches the floor. Inhale as you do this.

Step 4

Push yourself up until you’re back to your starting position. Squeeze your chest muscles and exhale as you do this.

Step 5

Hold the contraction on your chest muscles before proceeding with your next repetition.

Step 6

Repeat until the recommended amount of repetitions is achieved.
