Rope Climb - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Hold on to the rope with both hands overhead. Pull down on the rope as you take a small jump.

Step 2

Tie the rope around one leg and use your feet to pinch the rope. Grip the rope and reach up as high as you can with your arms.

Step 3

Pull yourself up as you release the rope from your feet. Bring your knees towards your chest.

Step 4

Reposition your feet on the rope. Stand up to take another high hold on the rope until you reach its top.

Step 5

Lower yourself by loosening the grip of your feet on the rope. Slide down using a hand over hand motion.
