Rope Crunch - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Kneel down at about 1-2 feet in front of a cable system that is hooked to a rope.

Step 2

Select an appropriate weight and grab the rope with your hands reaching overhead. Start with a position that allows your torso to be upright.

Step 3

Bend your spine and aim on bringing your ribcage to your legs while pulling the cable down.

Step 4

Pause at the bottom of the movement, and gradually go back to the starting position.

Step 5

These can be done with twists or to the side to hit the obliques.
