Side Standing Long Jump - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Do an athletic standing position with your hips and knees slightly bent. Your feet should be hip width away from each other, head looking forward, and chest up. This is your starting position.

Step 2

Slightly lean your body to the right.

Step 3

After that, quickly extend your hips, knees, and ankles at the same time to jump into the air. Block with your arms to lead the movement. Aim to jump to your right as far as you can.

Step 4

As you land, absorb the impact with your legs by bending your hips and knees at the same time.

Step 5

Go back to your starting position then start jumping to your left.
