Main Muscle Worked: Calves
Adjust the calf raise machine according to your height. Load it with weights according to your preference.
Stand on the platform and place your shoulders under the padded lever. Secure the balls of your feet on top of the calf block with your heels extending off it.
Push the lever up until you’re standing straight. Your legs should be straight with your knees slightly bent. Don’t lock your knees and keep them stationary all throughout this exercise. This is your starting position.
Raise your heels as high as you can by extending your knees and contracting your calf. Exhale as you perform this movement.
Pause for a moment then slowly lower your heel until you’re back to your starting position.
Repeat until the recommended amount of repetitions is achieved.
