Standing Low-Pulley One-Arm Triceps Extension - Exercise Guide

Step 1

Stand up straight in front of a low pulley machine. Hold a handle in one hand.

Step 2

Face away from the machine with your arm holding the handle fully extended by your side.

Step 3

Raise your arms overhead until they’re perpendicular to the floor. Your palms must be facing forward. Keep your upper arms stationary all throughout this exercise.

Step 4

Keep your upper arm perpendicular to the floor and place your right hand on your left elbow. This is your starting position.

Step 4

Lower the handle by bending the elbow of your working arm to the back. Continue until your forearm touches your biceps. Inhale as you do this.

Step 5

Pause for a moment then slowly get back to your starting position by using the triceps to raise the single handle. Exhale as you do this.

Step 6

Complete your repetitions then switch arms and repeat.
