in Quadriceps Exercise
Main Muscle Worked: Quadriceps
Stand up straight with your feet shoulder width away from each other while holding a barbell across the back of your shoulders. Your head and chest should be up and back straight. The barbell’s weight should not be too heavy so you can still jump.
Squat down by bending your hips and knees at the same time. Continue to descend until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Inhale as you do this.
Pause for a moment then immediately jump straight up by extending your hips and knees at the same time. Exhale as you do this.
Land on the floor by absorbing the impact with your legs. Do this by bending your legs once you’ve landed.
