Grab the pull-up bar and hang yourself freely with your arms extended. This is your starting position.
Pull yourself up by flexing your elbows and adducting the shoulder joint. Avoid swinging or using momentum to complete this portion of the movement. Aim to get your chin over your hands.
Pause at the top before lowering yourself to your starting position.
