This year, I was turning 45 years old. I felt like I was getting old before my time. I didn’t smoke or drink, and I worked out inconsistently. I decided to really put more effort into my overall health. I paid close attention to my diet and ate healthy, organic foods. I spent more time than ever in the gym doing cardio workouts but still did not get any results. I still had aches and pains. I never had any energy. I was burnt out by 4 p.m., and I went to bed early. I remained dedicated, thinking things would just get better. I felt like the shadow of the man that I wanted to be.
